    Heavy Equipment Operator
Ever wonder how men and women operate heavy equipment? Some, not all go to Equipment Operator School . I was lucky to have a job as a truck driver slash labor in my younger days in the pipeline industry. At the time I was installing water mains. I would work watching the operators digging and backfilling trenches, loading trucks, thinking to myself, wish I could do that, so every chance I got when we were in safe areasaway from the danger of hitting people and underground utilities, I would ask! Can I give it a try ? Most of the Hoisting equipment operators I worked with were cool (so to speak) they would let me dig and operate an that gave me my start
Today in almost all areas in order to Operate Heavy Equipment you must have a special license.

Electric chain hoist, Electric hoist, Hoisting equipment, Crane equipment, Hoist Motor, Chain Block, Lever Block, Crane Accessories, Electric Chain Hoist Manufacturer.

Here in New England you need a hoisting license for Backhoes, Excavators, Forklifts, Cranes equipment etc. If you don’t have a place to practice like I did search the web, There are many schools, and training facilities, also Union halls and Operating Engineers. heres a site with lots of info about heavy equipment , schools etc.Heavy Equipment You can find some nice photos on the web also. My occupation as a Union equipment operator has been great most of the time, I have had new employees like myself in the early days wanting to give it a try, I always allow them providing we are in a safe area, hey, thats how I started. I’m now installing Natural gas pipelines all over the Northeast. Becoming an equipment operator is only a click or phone call away ! —-Good Luck—–
